Dr. Melvin Ooi (Wei Boon) completed his Internal Medicine training at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University in Massachusetts prior to pursuing his Nephrology fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR.

Originally from Malaysia, Dr. Ooi completed his medical school in Canada before to moving to the United States. He is fluent in English, Malay, Cantonese and Mandarin. He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys traveling in his leisure time.

Dr. Alex Carlos Jr. is originally from the Philippines, where he finished his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Medicine. He completed his Residency training in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, NY.  He furthered his training in Nephrology at Keck Hospital of USC (University of Southern California) and Los Angeles General Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

He is fluent in English & Filipino.  He enjoys traveling, swimming, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Dr. Rahul Bhaskar completed his internal medicine training at Parkview Medical Center in Colorado prior to pursuing his nephrology fellowship at the joint Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and Cedar-Sinai Medical Center program in Southern California.

Originally from Canada, Dr. Bhaskar brings international experience after completion of medical school in Central Europe and throughout the United States.

In his spare time, Dr. Bhaskar enjoys going to the gym, spending time with his family and friends, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and trying out new foods and drinks.

Dr. Rafal Ciecierski graduated from Medical University in Warsaw, Poland.  He completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Christ Medical Center – UIC, Chicago, IL and Nephrology Fellowship at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.  During his time at Tulane, his research was dedicated to mechanisms of regeneration of kidneys and the liver after injury.  Dr. Ciecierski has provided care to an adult population with a wide spectrum of kidney disease,  including patients prior to and following kidney transplant.  

Dr. Ciecierski is fluent in Polish and English and has working knowledge of German and Italian.  

He enjoys traveling around the world, mushroom picking and participating in marathons and triathlons. 

Megan Sedig is a board-certified nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and then proceeded to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Hawai'i at Hilo. Megan has a wide medical background including emergency medicine, medical/surgical, care management, and primary care as a nurse practitioner in Hawai'i. Her focus is to provide culturally congruent care and empower individuals to improve their quality of life. 

Megan was born and raised on North Shore of Kauai. She enjoys spending time with her family, managing her small farm, and enjoying the beach.

Dr. Valerie Tan completed her Internal Medicine training at Roger Williams Medical Center in Rhode Island and her Nephrology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Originally from the Philippines, Dr. Tan is fluent in Filipino and English. She moved to the United States with her husband who is an Internal Medicine Primary Care physician. Dr. Tan now resides on Oahu with her family. She enjoys spending time with family, loves to travel and explore the outdoors.

Ryan Argyros is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a career focus in nephrology. He has provided 7 years of patient-focused care in the dialysis setting. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the State College of Florida and then earned his Master of Science degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. His national board certification is held with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). He enjoys the outdoors and fitness activities with his friends and family.

Hannah Bernadsky is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. Hannah has worked in a variety of settings including trauma, emergency, home care and pediatrics.

She is passionate about building genuine relationships with her patients and encouraging them to become active participants in their health.

Hannah enjoys traveling with her husband and their sled dog--Olive, finding the best places to eat, reading and playing classical piano.
